Miles Wick is a bassist and multi-disciplinarian with ties to New York and San Francisco. Equally at home playing straight ahead jazz, free improvisation, or backing up poets and songwriters, Miles has been a sought after addition to many musical situations over his 20 year career.

Now living in Austin, he is called on by the area’s finest jazz musicians such as Ephraim Owens, Andre Hayward, Christian Wiggs, Tommy Howard, and Gerry Gibbs. Miles has produced several albums, one poetry book, and is a co-founder of the house concert series in Austin, The House of Bebop. He currently studies North Indian Raga with vocalist Ashwini Deshpande-Gore.
