The Austin Percussion Collective is a newly formed chamber group among old friends. With members hailing from across the United States, APC brings their varied musical experiences together to perform a high energy program of solo and chamber percussion works. The program features a wide variety of instruments ranging from standard tonal keyboard percussion instruments like the marimba and vibraphone to an assortment of metal, glass, wood, and porcelain objects. Abundant with rich sonorities, unique textures, and cool grooves, this program has something to offer for a wide range of musical tastes.
