Born in Laredo, Texas, Jerry Espinoza received his bachelor's degree in Classical Saxophone Performance at Texas A&M in Kingsville, under the direction of James Warth. Jerry also earned a master's degree in 2015 in Jazz Studies at Texas State University, with emphasis in arranging, under the direction of Russell Haight and Hank Hehmsoth. Currently, he serving as adjunct professor of saxophone at A&M Kingsville and performs as a freelance musician across Central Texas.

Lee "Sparky" Thomason is a trumpeter, composer, arranger, and teacher from Rockdale, TX. Having been involved in jazz education and maintaining a robust trumpet studio for the past 35 years, Thomason is currently playing with the Temple Jazz Orchestra, the Tonic Big Band, the N.O.W. (New Original Works) Jazz Orchestra, Roger Velasquez and the Latin Legends, and the Urban Achievers Brass Band.
Sparky's arrangements and compositions have been performed by high school, college, and professional bands all over Texas and Utah, where he lived for 7 years. He's arranged big band charts for Austin Jazz Workshop, USAF Dimensions in Blue Jazz Band, Mambo Jumbo, Latin Breed, Roger Velasquez and the Latin Legends, and the Temple Jazz Orchestra. You can catch his weekly Facebook and Youtube show called "Lone Star Jazz", where he gives updates and listings of all the great happenings in the jazz scenes across TX!
