A native of Brownsville, Texas, saxophonist and composer Gil Del Bosque earned a bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas and a master's degree from the University of Texas at Austin. In addition to leading his own band, Gil is a member of the Adrian Ruiz Quintet, Beto y los Fairlanes, and has shared the stage with Chris Potter, Mike Clark, Boyz II Men, Huey Lewis and the News, Aaron Neville, Debbie Boone, and Olga Tanon. Gil currently teaches a studio of 40 saxophone and clarinet students, and often serves as guest artist and clinician at universities across the Southwest. He released his debut album, Here with You, in August of 2017.
